Community College Trade-Related Classes may be taken to strengthen an application portfolio or to qualify for a re-interview.
Completing college level trade classes is one way to improve your qualifications for the apprenticeships that we offer. Examples of classes to look for at local community colleges: Electrical Theory, Pre-Apprenticeships, Welding, Circuit Wiring, Motors, anything using measurement and construction tools.
If you are taking college-level trade classes to qualify for a re-interview, at least one of the classes must be electrical in nature. If you are unsure if a class meets the requirement, please e-mail a link to the course description to Bridget Quinn at for verification before enrolling.
