The NECA IBEW Electrical Training Center will begin accepting conditional applications beginning October 1, 2020 by appointment. Conditional applications include:
Applicants with at least 2,000 OJT hours of electrical trade experience equivalent to this Program. (must provide proof of hours from their JATC)
material handling hours do not qualify, 2K hours must be earned in an apprenticeship
Applicants who have completed any OSATC-approved pre-apprenticeship program, (completion certificate required)
Applicants who sign an authorization card during an IBEW organizing effort after receipt of signatures from 30% of targeted workforce
Military veterans who submit a DD214 that documents an honorable discharge from the US armed forces, Selected Reserve, Ready Reserve or National Guard within 24 months of the date of application
Applicants who are enrolled as members of an Indian Tribe or Nation, and/or Qualified Native American applicants referred by a Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO).

The NECA IBEW Electrical Training Center will begin accepting re-interview requests beginning October 1, 2020. Re-interview candidates include:
Applicants currently on the ranked list, who after 180 days on the ranked list, have completed more than 1,000 hours of trade-related work experience, or
Passed two or more post-secondary trade-related classes (with an A or B) from an educational institution accredited by a state education agency (totaling 6 credit hours).
A reinterview request form must accompany the verifiable documentation. Click here for the reinterview form. Upon approval by the JATC, the candidate will be notified via email of the new interview date, or whether the request has been denied.
