Veteran Applicants
A military veteran of the United States armed forces may apply during any open office hours, regardless of public application openings provided the below conditions are met.
- The Applicant must submit all required documentation, found under the Program Requirements section of each program description
- The Applicant submits a DD-214 form that documents honorable discharge from the US armed forces, Selected Reserve, Ready Reserve or National Guard within 24 months of the date of application; – OR –
- The Applicant is an active duty military member who is within 180 days of expected separation from service with an honorable discharge. Prior to registration a DD-214 form that documents honorable discharge must be submitted.
Once the qualifying application is submitted the standard application timeline applies.
